Yesterday Ava turned five months old. Her personality is starting to shine through, I can sense that she already understands sarcasm, which is a must if you live in our house. Here is a little info and a few pictures of my favorite five month old.
Ava now weighs in at a hefty 17lbs. Her thighs are impressive, I wonder how her tiny little feet(still a size 0) will support them when she starts to walk.
She has just about outgrown her 3-6M clothes.
Her favorite things continue to be nursing, sleeping in the recliner with mama, and being held. She also enjoys peek-a-boo with Daddy and farting- she would put a grown man to shame. I figure if she is going to be a vegetarian she might as well get used to it now.
She has not tried any solids yet, we are waiting until six months or so.
Her favorite animal at the Kruse zoo continues to be Sophie the neurotic wonder dog.
She is now putting everything in her mouth. Her favorite thing to chew on is a blue firefly toy that was handed down from her cousin Keaton.
She loves to laugh, but you have to be very funny to elicit a giggle, otherwise she will just stare at you with an unimpressed look on her face.
Oh, and she loves to pinch.
