So I had this witty post all planned out. I know, me witty? Ava was up 25 times last night and was on some sort of eating binge. I am exhausted. But since I had the title to my witty post all planned out I feel I should at least attempt to follow through.
Starting today I will take each Tuesday and update you( and by you I mean my five or so readers, hi Mom!) on my journey to a healthier life. Wait. That is not witty at all. I feel I should make a few jokes about how my pants are too tight and now that the baby is almost six months old I can't say that this is baby weight. Like I said, I am tired and my creative juices are not flowing.
After ten years of failed dieting I have resolved to not diet. It sounds cliché, but the only way to maintain real weight loss is to change your lifestyle. It kind of sucks but it is true. That doesn't mean I won't keep wishing everyday that there will be some kind of pill invented that will allow me to eat blue cheese dressing without my ass getting fat.
I will have Matt take a before picture – Biggest Loser style. I may or may not post it, depends on how long I go on a drinking binge after I see it. I weighed myself this morning, buck naked, of course. Tuesdays will be update day where I will share all the pertinent information that you are dying to know.
So stay tuned, this could get ugly.

I'm right there with ya. I love that you title the post "fat tuesday". It sounds like something I would do....my friend Rachel doesn't like it that I refer to myself as fat and that I make rude comments about myself. I'm sure it's some strange way of coping with it, but it sort of cracks me up to do it. I logged into a website where you keep track of all your eating and exercise and I asked her to be my accountability person so I gave her my password. It was "mcfatty"...she didn't think it was funny at all! LOL
BTW...you have six readers now because I added you to my "favorites"! :)
Good luck on your lifestyle change!
sorry....mom-nos is Liza :)
I teach a class at the Y on Tuesdays--never thought of the Fat Tuesday take but not sure that would go over well! Y Weekly Weigh-ins seems to be less negative:)
Liza, are you talking fitday? :)

Good luck Dawn. I need to join you. Is it wrong to wake up thinking of potato chips and dip in the morning?
Oh yeah, I think you have 7 readers. A friend of mine from work reads it along with me.
I will also be joining you on this journey as my pants are too tight and I pretty sure a button popped off in the middle of a lesson today. So every Tuesday I will be checking my progress as well. Tuesdays didn't suck until now!
