I was going to post just one picture of Ava… that didn't work out at all. How can I possibly just pick one? Oh and I took one of Emily so she didn't feel left out. You can tell she was thrilled.
I have no idea why there is a flip flop on the arm of the couch…. I took all of these shortly before we headed out to Bald Eagle Days. Other than the Expo Center being about 95 degrees inside it was a good time. Emily and Keaton sat right in the flight path of the hawk and it flew just inches above their heads. Was it wrong to secretly hope it would poop mid-flight?
After the birds of prey presentation we headed out and went to Arthur's Garden Deli for dinner. I made myself a huge veggie salad and actually ate so much broccoli I gagged myself. Seriously. We all came back to our house and watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. It was cute and the kids enjoyed it. I was asleep by 9:30, which I have determined to be my perfect bedtime.

I should have gone with you guys...Nathan and Noah did not have fun at Eagle Days. They were so annoyed by the crowds. Lily was so excited because they talk aboug eagles in Kindergarten...it was fun to watch her excitement.
