I have been wanting to visit Starved Rock State Park for a few months now. We saw some of it when we went to the water park awhile back. We took a trip out there yesterday and had a great time. We plan to go back this summer and see even more of the park.
While we were there we went to the trained cat show that was in the Lodge. What better way to end a day of hiking than watching a cat play the drums….

We LOVE Starved rock, that waterfall you were standing by, is AMAZING in the winter all frozen. People actually climb it CRAZY !! Next time you go, let us know, maybe we could meet up with you guys.
