Per the norm, the day after Thanksgiving we unearthed the Christmas tree from the garage and brought it in. Matt had it set up in no time and the kids and I waited anxiously to get it decorated. The tree is pre-lit, a convenient thing in most cases.
As you can see the middle section is not working. A few branches here and there are also out.
Matt gave up and we convinced the kids it was ok to wait to decorate the tree. Bet you are on the edge of your seat to see what happened on Day 2.

Found your blog through social fixer, so enjoyed reading about your sweet family. 34 years ago we lost our sweet Ethan at 16 months to leukemia. I so understand all you are going through. Even though I'm a grandma now, 3 times over, I still think of him everyday but the pain has lost its edge...yours will too. Thank you for sharing with us. God Bless
