Singing in the Rain

I love how rainy days don't get Ava down. She sees the rain and sets out on a mission to find her rain boots and umbrella. She, of course, puts the boots on the wrong feet and refuses to fix them.

That's ok though, I admire her stubbornness, most of the time. I am sure her teachers will appreciate it to when she starts preschool tomorrow morning. Yes, baby girl is going to school. Matt and I decided to enroll her in Montessori school. She is ready. She has an eagerness to learn, explore, and be social. I will continue to do all that we do at home- painting, playing, practicing letters, etc…  But for three days a week she will experience a school(Montessori style) environment.  It is a commitment, both financially and time wise, but I really feel that setting a good foundation is super important for children to be successful. Ava is so excited she can hardly stand it!
